Passed Appetizers (served after ceremony, before lunch):

Vegetarian Causas (chilled whipped potatoes with asparagus & shitake mushrooms)

Vegetarian Bolitas de Yucca (crispy yucca balls stuffed with curry sauce & queso anejo)

Vegetarian Empanadas (sauteed spinache, shitake mushrooms & queso)


Entrees:

Vegetarian Lomo Saltado (stir fried vegetables, soy sauce, shoe string fries on a bed of rice)

Vegetarian Quinotto (quinoa-pmpkin stew, choclo, veggies)

Pork Adobo (pork shoulder, slow braised, with potato gratin & watercress)


Sides:

Potato Gratin

Ensalada Nuovo Andina (mixed greens, toasted quinoa, feta cheese)


Dessert: Smitten Ice Cream!


Earl Grey with Chocolate Chip (black tea with a hint of bergamot orange. Milk chocolate rounds out the tea’s faint bitterness) 

Tcho 60.5% Chocolate (can't get any more basic than this! Berkeley-based TCHO chocolate used)

Cardamom (a flavor neither one of us has tried from Smitten! Paired with cinnamon shortbread pieces)
